The Integrated Crisis System
Crisis Response Services is an integral part of the mental healthcare service delivery team, which includes the partners who provide emergency support – police, ambulance, hospitals, women’s shelters – and the partners who provide ongoing daytime support, including community counseling, social services, employment services and community-based services such as peer support groups.
We cannot work in isolation. In order to support individuals in crisis within the Kenora Rainy River District, a community infrastructure that is strong, supportive, informed and coordinated is required to ensure the comprehensive delivery of quality crisis care.
We are all part of the solution. By working together and becoming more familiar with available community resources, we can ensure the least intrusive and most effective intervention for individuals in crisis.
Let’s work together.
