Police can call the Crisis Line and request assistance if they determine that an individual is experiencing a mental health crisis. If it is deemed appropriate, the Crisis Line Communicator will dispatch a Community Mobile Support Worker. The Community Mobile Support Worker will then meet with the Police and the individual in crisis to offer further support and intervention.

Both the Crisis Line Communicator and the Community Mobile Support Worker can aid the individual and Police in identifying supports, including social support networks, and provide information about and referrals to community resources.
