Information & Referrals
Crisis Response Services staff provides information and referrals for individuals in crisis, family and friends, and service providers. The most current information about services, programs and resources within the District is available to staff through a resource database that is updated regularly through client feedback and ongoing inter-agency contact.
For individuals in crisis, follow-up with agencies and services such as counselling case management and medical intervention is frequently recommended. Referrals are provided based on the needs of each individual, as well as the options available in the individual’s community and the District.
